He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, J. C. Hawthorne, Jr. and Trudie Hawthorne; his wife Marty; his sons, Dale and Alton; his granddaughter Rylan Aubrey; his siblings, Martha Hawthorne, Jeanie Turrentine and Gary Hawthorne (Marilyn); and his nieces and nephews, Gunnar Homme, Mark Mason, Dennis Kibodeaux and Chris Farren.
