It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Basilio Delgado Valdez Jr. of Lyford, Texas, who passed away on May 22, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Basilio Valdez, and Leonor Valdez, Sr. (Delgado); his children, John Steven Valdez (Raquel), Eliseo Valdez, Daniel Valdez, Malinda Valdez, Genoveva Rodriguez (Abel), Betsy Gonzalez (Jesse) and Leonor Vela (Manuel); and his sister Antonia Guzman. He was also cherished by 20 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
