He is survived by: his wife Margarita M. Fonseca; his daughters, Bonnie Dominguez (Leonel), Emma Jean Street (Greg) and Elma Jo Nirenberg (Alan); his grandchildren, Serena, Michael, Bianca, Savanna and Milan; his great grandchildren, Heaven, Ava, Penelope, Zoey, Drew, Joaquin and Scarlett; his great great grandchildren, Jacob and Jet Jr.; and his siblings, Rudy, Santiago, Raul Fonseca and Alejandra Velasquez.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Funeral Home (1157 W Hidalgo Ave, Raymondville, TX 78580). A rosary was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church (8413 N Park Ave, Lyford, TX 78569). A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Rio Grande Valley Texas State Veterans Cemetery (2520 Inspiration Rd, Mission, TX 78572).
