The memory of Joe Fuentes Castillo of Mabank, Texas, who passed away on April 22, 2024 at the age of 77, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by : his parents, Leo Castillo and Jesusa Castillo (Fuentes); and his siblings, Raymond Castillo, Bobby Castillo, Baby Leo, Baby Johnny, Baby David, Vickie Camacho, Mary Howard and Noelia Ulibarri.

He is survived by : his wife Eva Castillo; his children, George Castillo, Joe Castillo, Ishmael Castillo, JohnPaul Castillo, Michael Castillo, Adam Castillo, Steven Castillo, Rosemary Castillo, Elisa Castillo and Jeannette Pesqueda; and his siblings, Leo Castillo, Jr., Wally Castillo, Roy Castillo, Rudy Castillo, Diana Ramos and Janie Arredondo. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A requiem service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (522 W Main St, Gun Barrel City, TX 75156). Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home (601 E Walnut St, Mabank, TX 75147). A vigil service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
