With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lillie Katherine Thomas in Mabank, Texas, who passed away on July 10, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Katherine Smith and Davis B. Coleman; her husbands, Clarence Wayne Thompson and John M. Thomas; and her brother David Coleman.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Thompson (Sandy), Jeff Thompson (Michelle), Michael Thompson (Shelly), Sherry Chapman (Paul) and Kendra Thomas; and her siblings, James Coleman and Melinda Riley. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Laurel Oaks Funeral Home (12649 Lake June Rd, Mesquite, TX 75180). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Laurel Oaks Memorial Park (12649 Lake June Rd, Mesquite, TX 75180).
