She was predeceased by : her parents, Johnnie Lee and Eula Belle Chitty Boyde; her husband Roy E. Byers Sr. (Scooter); her son Ronnie Dale; her siblings, JB Buck Boyde, Jimmy Glen Boyde, Eunice Cantrell, Opal Wallace, Helen Gamble, Joyce Salazar and Mary Phillips; and her grandson Nicky Ballard.

She is survived by : her children, Roy Byers, Jr., Betty (Randy Bailey), Barbara Cuevas of Payne Springs and Janie (Butch Carter); and her sister Linda Squire of Mesquite. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 10 great great-grandchildren.
