She was predeceased by : her parents, Stanley Bartow and Leona Mae Phipps (Williams); her husband Sam L. Johnson; and her siblings, Curtis Phipps, Jessie Cassidy, Effie Karber, Dovie Patricia and Janie Sue Phipps.
She is survived by : her sons, Randy Adams (Cheryl) of Madisonville and Walt Adams (Lydia) of Baytown; her grandchildren, Leeland Adams, Laura Adams, Jason Adams, Dean Adams and Christopher Adams; her great grandchildren, Nolan, Sophie, Kolby, Kaleb, Karter, Claire, Benjamin, Emery Hope, Everett and Mabri Mae; and her siblings, Margie Corgey of Houston, Elizabeth Kasprzak of Alvin and Ronnie Phipps of Bryan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
