She was predeceased by : her parents, Minnie Bell and James A. D.; her stepfather Harvey Drewey; her siblings, George, Richard, James, Jr., Michael, Alfonso, Evelena, Janie Pearl and Pauletta; her children, George Coleman and Alice Dewberry; and her granddaughter Latasha Coleman.

She is survived by : her daughter Carolyn Jones (Eddie Jones, Sr.); and her sisters, Deborah, Jackie, Wytina and Valerie. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
