He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward O'neal and Lille Ozelle Knight (Maness); his daughter Karen Knight Jones; and his niece Cristi Michael Autry. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Knight (Sulsar); his daughter Lisa Knight Maynard (Mark); his son-in-law Dan Jones; his siblings, Troy O'neal Knight (Sally) and Frieda Knight Michael; his grandchildren, Spencer Green (Erica), Lindsey Jones Detwiler (Sean), Kadan Jones, Victoria Jones Skov (Michael) and Steven Jones; his great grandchildren, Robert Green, Eloise Green, Palmer Green, Noah, Alexander Skov, Daniela Jones and Sadie Rose Detwiler; and his siblings' children, Penni Michael Steger, Kelly Knight Najvar and Patrick Knight. He is also survived by numerous other extended family and loving friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Madisonville Funeral Home (1511 E Main St, Madisonville, TX 77864). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
