She was predeceased by : her parents, Virgil H. Nichols and Katie Nichols (Gardner); her brother Forest "Buddy" Nichols; and her son Ricky Ward. She is survived by : her son Don; her daughter-in-law Mary Stary of Spicewood, Texas; her son D. P.; her daughter-in-law Elaine Ward of Shepherd, Texas; her children, Susan Kinser of Plano, Texas, Steven Ward Sr. of Shepherd, Texas and Marty; her daughter-in-law Liddie Stephens of Coldspring, Texas; her grandchildren, Martin Stary, Amy Reeves, Sarah Garrett, Steven Ward Jr., Heather Randall, Rachel Kinser, Brooke Kinser and Chase Stephens; her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Marshall, Brady, Easton, Emily, Gavin, Whitley, Brock, Lux, Nyx, Kensley and Maddox; and her brother Mike Nichols of Shepherd, Texas. She is also survived by numerous friends and extended family.
