He was predeceased by : his parents, Bobby Merle and Alene Drake (Ivey). He is survived by : his son Gaylon Drake (Victoria) of Madisonville; his stepdaughter Natalie Drake; his stepgranddaughter Kylie; his brothers, Bobby Drake (Debra) of Madisonville and Darrell Drake of Madisonville; and his grandchildren, Mallie, Izaiya and Josiya (Diane Cobb).
