He is survived by : his children, James Whaley and Cachandra Davis of Madisonville, Texas; his siblings, Bettie Jo Whaley and J. L. Whaley; his grandchildren, Nefeteria Davis, Trinicia Byrd (Ladarrian), Charles Gilbert, Jr., Damein Whaley, Jamaniesha Whaley, Alexus Whaley, Tylor Whaley and James Whaley Jr. Jaydence Whaley; and his great grandchildren, Alecia Byrd, Zay Gilbert, Jayceon Davis, Jace Gilbert, Jaida Craig, Alaya Byrd, Baz'Lyn Whaley, Draelyn Whaley, Camari Gilbert, Armany Curtis and Kasen Lewis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
