He is survived by: his mother Olene Thomas of Malakoff; his wife Joyce Hayes of Malakoff; his children, Kristi Hayes Dalrymple (Jason) of Malakoff, Josh Jamison (Kasey) of Malakoff, Jenni Hayes Notley (Justin) of Humble and Katie Hayes Hoover (Wesley) of Malakoff; his siblings, Jimmy Keith "Bubba" Hayes of Athens, Karl Wayne Hayes of Rusk and Pamela Kay Johnson of Malakoff; and his grandchildren, Megan, Allie, Kyler, Paige, Kinleigh Dalrymple, Loden Jamison, Lukas Jamison, Seth Notley, Ady Notley and Jace Hoover.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
