He was predeceased by: his father Frank Walter Smaltz; his brother Frank Jr.; and his grandparents, Elton, Carrie Stern, Guy and Kathryn Smaltz.
He is survived by: his mother Nancy Lou Smaltz (Stern); his daughter Amanda Zwieryznski (Shawn); his grandchildren, Taylor and Tatum; his son Jonathon Smaltz (Natalie); his brothers, Daniel Guy Smaltz (Fran) and Eric Wade Smaltz (Lisa); his sister-in-law Janine; and his pets, Sugar and Fancy.
