He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lee Macklem and Esther Henrietta Macklem (Lussier); and his siblings, Thomas Henry Macklem II, William Wayne Macklem, Patricia Jean Macklem and Mavis Ruth Dunlap (Macklem).
He is survived by: his siblings, Sandra LaRusso Hartley (Macklem) and Maurice Franklin "Skip" Macklem; and his daughters, Amy Macklem of Sioux City, Sonya Parkey (Macklem) of Keller, Vonice "Nessie" Wallace of Rowlett and Justina Macklem. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Skyvue Funeral Home (7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
He loved riding his motorcycle including charity rides with his friends at the American Legion.
