He was predeceased by : his parents, X. L. Ealy and Jewel Ealy. He is survived by : his wife Noweta Ealy; his children, Flenisia Ealy, Maria Russell, Sharon Wray, Dedrick Ealy and David Wray III; and his siblings, Claressa McBrown and Tunda Ealy. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
