He was predeceased by: his parents, Vito Fortunato and Martha Jean Sanders Castiglione; his brother Stephen; his sister-in-law Sue Farrell; and his grandson Benjamin McKenzie.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Black; his children, Mark (Kristelle) and Amy McKenzie; his grandchildren, Jordan McKenzie Facchini (Josiah), Reagan Castiglione, Bethanne Castiglione, Justice McKenzie, Jessica McKenzie and Jaye McKenzie; and his siblings, Charles Farrell, Kathryn Dodson (Edgar) and Anna Castiglione. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
