He is survived by: his parent Margaret Sullivan Tierney; his siblings, Robert Tierney, Mary Tierney, William Tierney, Jr and Peggy Tierney Murnane; his wife Genevieve "Joy" Harrington Tierney; his children, Thomas, Jr. of Marble Falls, Richard (Bevin) of Morris Township, Julie Tierney Gerke (Steve) of Basking Ridge and Elizabeth Tierney of Morris Township; and his grandchildren, John, Tara, Alex, Zach, Sean, Brendan, Connor and Kendall.
