It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Dupont of Marietta, Texas, who passed away on October 20, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Franklin Harris and Marion Maxine Magruder Harris; her brothers, Hugh Harris and Vernon Harris; and her stepson Kevin Dupont.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Dupont of Marietta; her daughters, Janice Cusumano (Sue) of Kyle, Joy Gregerson (Mark) of Pemberton and Tammy Hooper of Portland, Oregon; her stepchildren, Thomas Dupont of Houston, Texas, Letha Keene (Billy) of Milan and Rhonda Gaw (Mel) of Ida, Michigan; her son-in-law Rick Workman (Davida) of Marietta; and her grandchildren, David Cusumano (Ashley), Lindsey Grover, Candice Abston (Jeff), Dustin Workman, Lee Hamilton (Margee Beard), Dana Shock, Joe Shock (Terri), Joe Tornberg (Suzi), Patricia Palmer (Nick), Don Tornberg (Katie), Billy Keene (Kristie) of Michigan, Debbie Dietrich (Ted) of Michigan, Michelle Keene of Michigan, Jean Davenport (Dave) of Michigan, Connie Beck of Michigan, Ron Gaw (Pam) of Michigan, Greg Gaw of Michigan, Jim Ervin and Mary Ann Ervin. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Oak Ridge Baptist Church (103 N Central Ave, Marietta, TX 75566).
