He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Gooch and Lillian; his wife Mollie Mae Beal; his children, Bernard Carrier, Sr., Judy Carrier and Aretta Johnson Perkins; his sisters, Essie Mae McGregor, Ruby Wheeler, Bessie Gooch and Earlene McCoy; and his grandson Deon Jon Adams.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Bryant Darden, Rodney Perkins, Charita Gray (Claude III) and Bernard Carrier, Jr. (Jacqueline); and his great grandchildren, Vaneisha Perkins of Bernard Carrier, III and Niya Carrier. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
