He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Kay Montelbano; his parents, Veto Paul Montelbano, Sr. and Francis Montelbano; and his sister Betty Jean Montelbano. He is survived by: his siblings, Lee Montelbano and Linda Montelbano; and his siblings' children, Jason Montelbano (Belinda), Nicole Hall (Brandon), Justin Montelbano of Haughton, LA, Tobie Montelbano (Alex) of Gilmer, TX, Robert Marshall Perkins, Jr. (Melanie) of Marshall, TX and Christopher Michael Perkins (Stephanie) of Prosper, TX.
