He was predeceased by : his parents, Samuel Caldwell and Opal Caldwell; his wife Lauren DuBroc Caldwell; his grandparents, Richard and Corrine McGaughy; his mother-in-law Helen O'Trupack; and his brother-in-law Christopher DuBroc.

He is survived by : his daughter Wendy Whitby (Quincy Cosby); his grandsons, Cody Cobbs (Taylor) and Lane Cobbs; his siblings, Betty Price and Roy Robinson (Louise); his father-in-law Mike O'Trupack; and his siblings-in-law, Susan Bigham (John) and Mark DuBroc (Katie). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews.
