He was predeceased by : his parents, Andres Montaña Sr. and Jesusita Montaña; and his sisters, Minerva Montaña, Juanita Montaña and Rosie Collazo.
He is survived by : his siblings, Mike Montaña, Sr. (Dominga), Arturo Montaña (Margaret), Andres Montaña Jr. (Martha), David Montaña Sr., Jesse Montaña Sr., Susie Longoria (Domingo Sr.), Mary Rodriguez (Joe), Elena Parra (Tomas), Josie Martinez, Janie Cardenas (Valentine) and Margie Montaña.
