She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest Lindsey Hasty and Velma Mary Hoover Hasty; her husband Lange; and her son Edgar (Virginia). She is survived by : her children, William Edmiston (Tylene) and Marilynn Hood (David); and her grandchildren, Robin Edmiston, Glenn Edmiston, Ericka Edwards, Chip Edmiston, Erin Casey, Amy Simoneaux and Andy Hood. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Donations to honor her memory may be made to the Cherokee Children's Home in Cherokee, Texas.
