He was predeceased by : his parents, Jesus Cantu and Ofelia Cantu (Fuentes). He is survived by : his wife Aidee A. Cantu; his children, Sarai Solis (Mario Solis) and Beatriz Jones (Siria Jones); his siblings, San Juanita Cantu (Adan Garza), Thelma Cantu, Gustavo Cantu (Blanca Solano), Juan Cantu and Javier Cantu; and his grandchildren, Angel De Jesus Solis, Annette D. Solis, Alyssa N. Solis, Anglina Solis, Audrey I. Solis and Camila Jones.
