He was predeceased by: his parents, Rita Ybarra, (Cortez) and Nicolas Ybarra, Sr.; and his siblings, Nicolas Ybarra, Jr. and Raquel Ybarra. He is survived by: his wife Carmen Ybarra; his daughter Veronica Alvarado; his siblings, Homer Ybarra (Susan) and Linda Ybarra; his stepchildren, Mario Guerra (Erika), Laura Zavala (Isaac) and Isaac Guerra (Linda); his grandchildren, Brandon Alvarado (Alixer), Jason Alvarado, Eryk Alvarado and Alyssa Alvarado; his great grandchild Noah Alvarado; his stepgrandchildren, Samson Alonzo, Jadyn Guerra, Cataleya Guerra, Liam Guerra, Jude Zavala and Jade Zavala; and his siblings' children, Sarah Clemons (Hunter), Nicolas Ybarra, Jacob Ybarra and Samuel Ybarra.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (1108 W Hackberry Ave, McAllen, TX 78501). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Valley Memorial Gardens (3601-3611 N Taylor Rd, Mission, TX 78573).
