She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Charles and Kate Swart; her parents, Marvin Swart and Okal Swart; her husband Robert Lewis Kinerk; and her daughter Cheryl Marie.
She is survived by: her sisters, Marilyn Oakley and Leanna Su; her friend Roda; her children, Michael David Kinerk (Dennis Wilhelm), Karen Leigh Kinerk and Steven Joe Kinerk (Aileen); her grandchildren, Jennifer Walters (Andrew), Robert T. Kinerk and Kaitlyn Helsley (Raymond); and her great grandchildren, Evan Walters, Alanna Walters, Connor Kinerk, Colton Kinerk, Brendan Kauth and Kaleb Helsley.
In lieu of sending flowers, the family requests that donations be directed in Nedra's honor to one of her most cherished accomplishments, the McAllen Heritage Center (she was a co-founder).
