It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ofelia Benavides of McAllen, Texas, who passed away on July 26, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Rodolfo Ayala and Nazaria Ayala; and her siblings, Isidro Ayala and Emma Perez. She is survived by : her children, Jesus "Jesse" Rios and Gina Saenz (Leo); her grandchildren, Amanda Rios, Jesse Rios, Daniel Rios, Ashley Saenz and Emily Saenz; and her siblings, Rosa Padilla, Amparo Ayala, Olga Ruiz and Rodolfo Ayala.
In light of the current Covid-19 Pandemic, funeral services will be limited to immediate family members only.
In lieu of flowers the family is accepting monetary donations to help pay for funeral cost. Donations can be made directly to Gina Saenz or Jesse Rios.
