He was predeceased by : his parents, Guadalupe Elizondo and Francisca Elizondo; his granddaughter Kayla Danielle Alonzo; his siblings, Maria Elena Gonzalez and Guadalupe Elizondo Jr.; and his nieces, Norma Gonzalez and Diana Gutierrez.

He is survived by : his wife Rosa Elia Elizondo; his children, Gloria Estella Elizondo, Cynthia Marie Alonso (Juan Alonso Jr.), Guadalupe Elizondo, Dr. Paz Elizondo Jr. (Maribel Elizondo) and Jorge Armando Elizondo; his grandchildren, Kelsey Elizondo, Gabriel Elizondo, Henry Gaven Elizondo, Renee Alonzo, Asher Elizondo, Stephanie Ligman (Michael Ligman), Samantha Sauceda and Simon Sauceda; his great grandchildren, James and Jordan Ligman; his niece Sonia Elizondo; and his nephews, Roger Gonzalez, Nicholas Gutierrez and Steven Gutierrez.
