He was predeceased by : his parents, Jose Munoz and Isabel Munoz; his wife Gloria; and his siblings, Pedro (Jose Alamillo), Alfredo (Arturo Hernandez), Lydia Munoz Chapa and David Munoz (Mercedes Munoz Reyes).

He is survived by : his children, Raymond Munoz (Christina), James Munoz (Elizabeth), Richard Munoz and Gloria Munoz (Alejandra); and his grandchildren, Lisa Munoz (Leanne), Theresa Munoz-Florek (late Jason), Corinne Munoz, Alexander Munoz, James Munoz (Jennifer), Raquel Munoz (Donny), Anthony Munoz (Bethannie) and Matthew Munoz. He is also survived by 4 children, 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
