He was predeceased by : his parents, Edwin Schmalriede and Anna Schmalriede (Lippe). He is survived by : his wife Yvonne Schmalriede; his children, Regina Rivas (Richard) and Rodney Schmalriede (Connie); his grandchildren, Andy Rivas, Matt Rivas, Brody Schmalriede and Lindsey Gohlke (Colby); and his great grandchildren, Ryker Rivas and Rylee Rivas.
