In the vast expanse of eternity, Dorothy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Dorothy farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dolton Gillespie (Doc); her daughter Phyllis Ann; and her parents, David Phillip Quisenberry and Hettie Ann Quisenberry. She is survived by: her daughter Dana Gillespie Christen; her son-in-law Karl Christen; and her grandson Grant Christen.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Allen Family Funeral (2112 W Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, TX 75023). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM.
