He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Agnew and Alta Agnew (Burrus); his siblings, Edith Bibb (Agnew), Bill Agnew and Bert Agnew; and his nephew David Agnew.
He is survived by: his son Joe Todd Agnew (Carrie) of Los Angeles; his wife Carolyn Agnew; his grandchildren, Paula D'Spain (Michael) of Allen, Texas., Patrick, Jack D'Spain of Allen, Abigail and Hayden Agnew of Los Angeles; his aunt Mildred Hounsel (Carter) of Rising Star; and his nieces and nephews, Carol Holliman (Agnew), Tommy Bibb, Steve Bibb, Marilyn Isom (Bibb) and Randy Bibb.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Piersall Funeral Directors (733 Butternut St, Abilene, TX 79602). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Rising Star Cemetery (401 Co Rd 273, Rising Star, TX 76471). A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
