He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore and Viola; and his sister Edith Nielson. He is survived by: his spouses, Geraldine and Gerry; his sons, Steve Cole (Sharon) of Murphy and David Cole of Olathe; his grandchildren, Jake Cole, Jamie Cole, Grayson Cole and Corrine Cole; his sister Esther Klaassen of Wichita; and also, Gerry and Fritz.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pretty Prairie High School Future Farmers of America (FFA) or UT Southwestern Medical Center, (to support Alzheimer research in honor of his wife), in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
