With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Carter (Melvin, Texas), who passed away on January 30, 2019 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his grandfather Sam Ball; and his mother Lena Carter. He is survived by : his parent Melvin Carter; his daughters, Janai Carter and Desseraye Carter; his grandchildren, Ameer and Ameena; his son Damien Winters; his grandchildren, Kristian and Makai; his wife Mayme Carter; his siblings, Vonciel (Darrell), Beverly, Louise, Mia, Darius, Corry (Ramona) and Kevin; and also Bernice Hartfield Ball. He is also survived by Father and Father in-law (Daniel Winters), and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, relatives and friends.
