It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adolfo C. Lara Jr. of Mercedes, Texas, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on July 15, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolfo Lara and Noemi Lara; his grandparents, Nicandro and Teresa Colunga; and his brother Tony Lara.

He is survived by: his wife Mercedes; and his children, Theresa Lara, Charles Lara (Carmen), Sylvia Diaz (Richard) and Mike Cerna. He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren; his 7 sisters; his 3 brothers; and his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
