It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genaro Cantu Jr. (Mercedes, Texas), who passed away on March 13, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Genaro Cantu and Florinda Elizondo Cantu; and his brothers, Baldemar Cantu (Balde) and Guadalupe Lupe. He is survived by: his wife Margarita Garza Cantu (Margie) of Mercedes; his sons, Luis Ricardo Cantu and Genaro G. Cantu; his sisters, Esmeralda Mike Givilancz (Lala) of Weslaco, Estella Cantu, Salazar of Mercedes, Consuelo, Garza of Harlingen Texas, Antonio Cantu (Estella) of Weslaco and Carlota C. Noriega; and his sister-in-law Elisa Cantu of Mercedes. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
