She was predeceased by : her parents, Cira and Andres (Navarro); her grandson Daniel Rodriguez; her great grandchild Santiago Abelardo Frias; her granddaughter Maria Rodriguez; and her brothers, Francisco Navarro and Macario Navarro.

She is survived by : her husband Candelario Zavala; her children, Zoila Zavala, Maria Guadalupe Javier Torres, Juan Irene Zavala and Mauricio Sandra Zavala; and her brother Andres Navarro (Moises Navarro). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
