It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nannie Porter (Meridian, Texas), born in Wheeler, Texas, who passed away on April 16, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ray Harper and Hazel Laurence; her husband James Porter; and her siblings, Raymond Harper and Mildred Harper.

She is survived by : her children, Charlotte Myers (Howard) of Iredell, Cindy McCoy (Steve) of Somerville and David Porter (Sandra) of Stephenville; and her sister Jean Hulbert of Bend, Oregon. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
