It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tony Matthews of Meridian, Texas, born in Cleburne, Texas, who passed away on December 2, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Clifton and Cornell; his daughter Melissa; his granddaughter Kayla; his great grandchildren, Nellie, Nollie and Tanner; and his sister Betty.

He is survived by : his wife Linda Matthews; and his sons, Clif Matthews (Jennifer), Chris Matthews (Christy), Kent Matthews, Dale Cloer (Kim) and Steve Cloer (Hillary). He is also survived by 50 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and many friends.
