He was predeceased by : his parents, James Guynes and Cora Bernell Guynes (Cox); his grandson Hayze Maldonado; and his brothers-in-law, Charles Blanton and Ronnie Welborn.
He is survived by : his wife Judy Guynes (Diltz); his children, Cody Guynes (Christina) of Kermit, Clay Guynes of Roby and Cristi Maldonado (Justin) of Merkel; his grandchildren, Tristan Cano of Fort Worth, LeeAnn Schaller of Lubbock, Hunter Guynes of Kermit and Ellum Maldonado of Merkel; and his sister Kathleen Welborn of Early. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, close cousins and many other extended family.
