She was predeceased by : her parents, José Acuña and Rafaela Garcia Acuña; her siblings, Elvira Acuña Biera, Socorro Rosas, Ida Acuña and Jesse Acuña; her children, Patsy Adams, Manuel Biera Jr., Robert "Bobby" Biera and Charles "Chuck" Mayo; and her granddaughter Sarah Biera.

She is survived by : her brothers, Fernando Acuña and Felix Acuña; her children, Richard Biera, Chris Biera, David Biera (Martha Biera), Amanda Mayo, Adam Biera (Abel Silva), Lisa Biera, Krystal Balvantin and Joe Adams; her grandchildren, Brandon Adams, Patricia Biera (Cindy Biera), Molly Biera and Amy Biera; her children, Kayla Mayo, MacKenzie Mayo, Maranda Mayo, Anthony Biera, Monica Rediker (Alex Rediker), Haleigh Biera, Rebecca Biera, Khloe Balvantin, Matthew Balvantin and Alex Moreno (Rue); and her great grandchildren, Anthony Biera Jr. and Madelynn Rediker. She is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Starbuck Funeral Home Chapel (1022 N 2nd St, Merkel, TX 79536). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
