He was predeceased by : his parents, Encarnacion Hinojosa (Isabel "Chavela" Hinojosa) and Isabel Hinojosa; and his son Mark David Hinojosa. He is survived by : his siblings, Olga Munoz, Gus Hinojosa, Bertha Montez, Linda Valencia and Reynaldo Hinojosa; and his sons, Karlo Antonio Hinojosa and Alfred Delgado Hinojosa. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
