She was predeceased by : her father John Manuel King; her husband William "Sam" Carrell; her grandson Joshua Luke Carrell; her great grandchild Harper Ann Keese; her brothers, Johnnie Elcon King and Larry Lee King; her aunt Eloise Craig; and her son-in-law Robert Cowen.
She is survived by : her children, Sammie Carrell, Jr. (Zain), Doug Carrell (Pat), Alvie Carrell (Cathy) and Darla Cowen. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.
