It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Allon Vess of Mesquite, Texas, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Bobby Allon Vess and Helen Torina Mask; his stepfather Cletis Mask; his sister Wanda Vess-Veracruz; and his nephew Lawrence Veracruz Jr..

He is survived by : his children, Cambria, Brandon, Jamie, Kyle and Kathryn; his grandchildren, Brody, Tyler, Arlo, Airo and Breyonna; his siblings, David Vess and Linda Vess; his siblings-in-law, Joe and Debbie; and his nieces and nephews, Barbie, Chelsea, David Jr., Chesanie, Joe Jr. and Abbie.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Roselawn Funeral Home (1000 S Hwy 175, Seagoville, TX 75159). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens (1000 S Hwy 175, Seagoville, TX 75159).
