It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvis Byrd (Mexia, Texas), born in Plainview, Texas, who passed away on March 30, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Byrd and Leata Hale Byrd; and his siblings, Ruth Barnet, Joyce Wilburn and Robert Byrd.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Byrd of Groesbeck; and his sons, Brad Byrd and William Byrd. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
