She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Sykes and Birdie Sykes; her former life partner Preston Williams; her siblings, J. D. Sykes, Leo Sykes, Ralph Sykes, Hudine Sykes, Bobby Sykes, Cleo McGary and Louise Webb; and her stepson Clinton Hallmark.

She is survived by : her son Bryan Allan Hallmark (Cindy); her stepdaughters, Donna Duckworth and Taloa Willis; her sister Nelda Pendergraph; her grandchildren, Joshua Hallmark (Gabby), Nathan Hallmark and Ashley Steeken; and her stepgrandchildren, Jeff Willis, Candice Serrata and Alan Hallmark.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Blair Stubbs Funeral Home (605 S McKinney St, Mexia, TX 76667). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at the Mexia Cemetery (900 N Kaufman St, Mexia, TX 76667).
