She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Ray and Delia Theresa Fortson (Bouchard); her son-in-law Michael Scott; and her parents-in-law, Don and Linda Morton.
She is survived by: her pet Peaches; her husband Steven Ray Morton; her daughters, Cindy Castlow (Robbie), Windy Campbell (Todd) and Merry Oden; her siblings, Robert Speck (Mary), Brenda Roark and Danny Ray Fortson; her mother-in-law Elaine Bounds; her siblings-in-law, Gary Morton and Georgia Shelby (Don); and her grandchildren, Tyler Castlow, Chelsy Zuniga (Amador), Tracy Neal, Britnie Ibanez (Arturo), Steven Starkey, Blake Starkey, Colton Campbell (Katelyn), Ryan Starkey (Mika), Morgan Campbell, Sara Thompson, Scott Parson (Adriana) and Tyler Smith (Patience). She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Prairie Grove Cemetery (2678 FM1953, Mexia, TX 76667).
