We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2023, at the age of 96, Betty Jones Van Wie of Midland, Texas, born in Holland, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Loraine Jones and Ralph Jones; her sisters, Dottie and Melba; her husband Joseph Van Wie; her daughters, Sherre (Leon Gentry) of Horseshoe Bay, TX, Patti (Mike Mayer) of Midland, TX., Andrews and Jerre Hutson of Dallas; and her grandchildren, Mark Hutson (Terese), Tracy Hutson, Jill Collins (Keith), Jennifer Cummings (Justin), Michelle Hofer (Steven) and Meghan Cotton (Christian).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to Manor Park, First Baptist Church Midland or the charity of your choice.
