She was predeceased by: her parents, L. D. Clark and Willie Mae Clark; her stepmother Havannah Clark; her sisters, Bobbie Jean of Washington and Marjorie Ray Pleasant Blaine; and her siblings' children, Vicky King Lowe, JoAnn Pleasant Simms and Marvin Pleasant.
She is survived by: her sister Jewel; her husband Melvin; her children, Carole Morgan (Christopher), Douglas Scott, Jr. (Melissa) and Philip Scott (Cassandra); her grandchildren, Bryan Christopher Morgan, Erin Marie Morgan, Hillary Alexandria Sinclair Scott, Zachary Bryant Scott, Mallary Alyssa Lois Scott, Austin Douglas Scott and Alexandra Jolie Scott; her sister Jewell Davidson; her sister-in-law Yvette Gale Scott; her niece Jacqueline Pleasant; and also Dorothy. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews and family.
